Target students:
Intermediate speakers with mother tongue pronunciation interference.

Group size:
max. 10 persons

This course is designed to address particular pronunciation difficulties in the context of selected business themes to improve grammar and extend vocabulary. Precise course content will be adapted to the particular needs of the group based on the overview below.

Overview

Pronunciation:

• Target vowel and consonant sounds with native interruption
• Word/sentence stress
• Intonation for questioning
• Pacing

Business Language (maximum 4 themes per course):

• Networking/socialising
• Telephoning
• Meetings
• Emailing
• Negotiations
• Presentations

Grammar Focus:

• Tenses: Present, past, future (predictions, plans etc)
• Conditional structures
• Simple Verb + preposition
• Comparatives
• Common phrasal verbs (meetings)
• Collocations (relating to all themes)
