Even advanced speakers of English are often left exasperated when they have to communicate with native speakers. All the grammar and pronunciation rules they have learnt appear to be contradicted and they have difficulty understanding the idiomatic language we instinctively employ when speaking both formally and informally.

If you have regular contract with non-native English speakers and communication is sometimes unclear, the chances are that you are not making yourself understood. Which is the clearest way to explain something, or express a wish? Do you speak you own language clearly? Your choice of language structure is as important as the non-native speaker’s.

This is a language awareness-training seminar, for English native speakers. Find out if you speak “Euro-English” or not!
