In the days of a united Europe the chance to work anywhere within the community has given rise to the need for an objective list of criteria for judging any one person’s ability to speak a foreign language. The renowned University of Perugia in Italy has produced the CELI, which is a list of such criteria for the Italian Language.

CELI offers five different testing levels. (CELI 1-5)
